Do you have a blog that stands alone?

The two essential pages every blog needs are:

  1. About us page.
A paragraph or two about you won’t do. Your about us page needs to be a fully fleshed out story of who you are, what you do, and why you do it. Something about you and your passion and how you ended up here, experience etc. It doesn't need to be extensive – but enough so that any of those prospective customers reading it would feel comfortable that you are the right person or company for them to contact.

About pages matter — they can be the second-most visited page. People just tend to be more supportive when they learn something about you, your business, and can relate to you in some way. Being faceless is never good for building a brand online.

  2. Contact us page.
All good blogs have good contact information.

People simply need a proof that they can reach out to you if they have an opinion – a proof that they are listened to. By putting your contact details on your blog, you can create a strong connection with your audience – a two-way communication. Your readers don’t appreciate anything more than knowing you are just like them, a normal, approachable human being.

Your contact us page can include a contact form, or a link to an email address. It can also have your postal mailing address, phone number, and social media accounts. Anything that a prospective customer needs to contact you.
