Website design and development

Your successful website should:

- reflect the image & personality of your company
- be simple to navigate and use
- present information clearly
- appear professional
- and most importantly - help your business!

Where do you start?

Webtrix begins the process by discussing your business, your requirements and your options - a consultation is included in each of our website designs.

Some questions to consider:-
Does my business need a website?
What is your website's purpose?
What do you want your website to achieve?
How will you define your website's success?
Who is your audience?
What value are they going to get from your website?
What content do they want?
How can your website use existing resources?
How does it help your business?

You can start with a simple website that can be easily developed and expanded over time. Start simply, and with what you understand. This will help you stay focused on the purpose. An initial website can provide prospective customers with an outline of your products and services, and an e-mail form for online enquiries.

Dynamic websites can automate many functions for you. We develop websites in Active Server Pages (ASP and ASP.net). This programming allows for interactive functionality such as search and display, online purchasing, online booking, feedback, surveys, online databases, content management and much more. Driving your website from a database allows large amounts of content to be stored and dynamically presented to your audience, while still remaining completely under your control. Read more about what dynamic website development could do for you!

Each business website has different requirements, and involves different costs. Webtrix charges $100 per hour, but a full quote will be supplied after discussion with you.

What is the process?

After consultation, Webtrix will design a look and feel and a website structure for you. Once the final look and feel has been selected, we proceed and fully develop your website. Prior to going live, your website is fully tested. Your website is then published to the internet.

What is involved?

A web page is not the same as standard A4 - it can expand indefinitely, although two screens long is a practical maximum length. Words may seem cheap, but make sure they are good! Limited space and limited time mean that your message and the words you use to get it across, should be short and sweet.
